1️⃣ Tether's new CEO is committed to releasing real-time reserve data. Tether's new CEO, Paolo Ardoino, plans to release Tether's real-time reserve data in 2024 to increase transparency. Tether has faced scrutiny for its support and was fined $41 million by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in October 2021. Despite the controversy, USDT circulation increased during a difficult market period while the second-largest stablecoin, USDC, declined.
2️⃣ Binance Finds New Payment Partner in Europe. Recently, Binance established a new partnership on fiat payment processing after ending its partnership agreement with Paysafe for the past one month. Binance said it has signed an agreement with a new partner to pay, deposit and withdraw funds in EUR. However, Binance has not announced the exact identities of the new service providers. Representatives of the exchange also declined to disclose further information.
3️⃣ Giant UMG sues company Anthropic AI over copyright distribution claims. Universal Music Group and other publishers sued Anthropic AI for allegedly distributing copyrighted lyrics. The AI model, Claude 2, allegedly generated lyrics resembling popular songs without the necessary licenses. Despite the lawsuit, Anthropic, which is expected to receive significant investment from Amazon, maintains its commitment to AI safety and copyright.

According to information from Bloomberg, Joseph Lubin, co-founder of both popular blockchain projects Ethereum and ConsenSys, has just been sued by a collective of 20 former employees of infrastructure company ConsenSys. In the lawsuit filed on Oct. 19, the group of former ConsenSys employees alleges that Lubin failed to live up to its commitment to distribute shares to them.
